Fashion Week trends we can already shop!

With the madness of fashion weeks over, we immediately go to the drawing board and start putting together inspiration for our Fall/Winter wardrobes. We spend our spare time and days off scouring the malls for our ahead of the game finds, but look no more – The Modern East has put together a collection of Fall/Winter ’19 trends that can already be shopped.

Florals

With a trend we have already seen, don’t be so quick to put your summer wardrobe away because florals are here to stay. Through a 60’s inspired twist, florals will stick around for fall/winter with a slightly larger and more pastel print.

The Boiler Suit

The boiler suit, AKA the elevated jumpsuit. We’ve seen a series of boiler suits on a few of our favorite Instagram stars and street style icons. However, seeing it on the runway for Fall/Winter ’19, we can guarantee that it’s here to stay. In a series of different fabrics from denim, to mix mediums and leather accents, or even to patterns such as pinstripe and gingham. We are not running out of options for the one piece any time soon.

The Knit Dress

While body con has been around for quite some time now, we couldn’t be happier that the trend has slowly evolved into more haute fabrics giving somewhat of a lux feel to the new knit dress. A sculpted silhouette, the knit dress hugs the body drawing attention to a bustier shape and hourglass silhouette but plays with dimension and shape in the form of color and print.

Utilitarian Pant

Cargo and Khaki’s have been around for a few seasons now, evolving from neutral colors to more bold hues, from cotton and poly material to more upscale fabrics such as satin and silks and from your good old trusty track pants to a sport-take on a more high fashion pant. Stay on trend with the utilitarian pant however keep an eye out for a more fashion-forward take on the pants.
