More Looks to Steal from Dima Al Sheikhly

We all know Dima Al Sheikhly from Instagram, she is one of the most recognizable faces on the app; her beauty tutorials and her beauty looks are ground breaking all always so lovely to watch and easy to recreate.

The Iraqi born was raised in the UAE and considers it her home and most of her following is from the region making her one of the most influential influencers out there.

I have always struggled when it comes to doing my own makeup on the daily and after following Dima, I have improved massively and picked up some trick along the way like using a darker shade concealer on the eyelids to create extra drama, thank you Dima, my social life is grateful to you.

However never in a million years would I have thought to follow Dima for her fashion sense, and boy was I wrong.

Dima has a very simple yet strong fashion style, she likes simple pieces and simple looks but always chooses the right fit and size to compliment her body.

Let me show you my favorite looks from her to recreate this summer:

Going to lunch with your friends? Dima has the right outfit for you, she wore a very colorful mini skirt with embroidery and different patterns with an over-sized long white shirt.

Classic with a twist; the shirt is short from the front, allowing the skirt to take all the glory and keeps Dima looking modest thanks to the extra length at the back.

A look easy to recreate, pick a white long shirt and tuck in the front inside a miniskirt and let the back cover your legs.

Lunch fit

Going shopping and still want to look cute? Dima strikes again, she wears short navy cycling shorts with a navy denim jacket and a pair of slides and a small bag.

The outfit is perfect for trying on clothes as you don’t have to remove pants, tops, lose your phone in a big bag etc.

She keeps it simple and underrated and allows her small Jacquemus bag to grab the attention and make her looks elegant.

Another effortlessly chic look from her is this beigey green-toned outfit. A light-colored jean, a greenish tank top, and a fitted blazer make for a perfect style with flawless taste.

You can head to any meeting looking perfect and fresh and it also allows you to be different thanks to the neutrality of the colors; rather than wearing a pair of blue jeans, you have opted for the less popular version but the also the more interesting one.

Feeling like going out to dinner but you want to stay away from body-con and still release your wild side?

Dima has the answer (as always) she wears a wild leopard shirt with a deep v on the chest and balloon sleeves with a pair of light denim above the knee shorts and kitten heel gold sandals. A look easy to recreate and that will make you look fresh and relaxed.

Last but not least is one of my personal favorites and Dima has managed to make the satin and fur pajama-look appear cool and edgy (not an easy feat). She wears a long yellow satin gown with fur slides and poses on the staircase of her house, talk about walking up like this!
