We’ve all been there: we find this recipe that looks crazy tasty and then we see the ingredient list that’s a kilometer long. But, before you go overloading your cart on your next grocery run, check these recipes out. You’ll still end up with a super delish meal, except you won’t have to buy half the store’s inventory to do so. Each of these 5 ingredient or less recipes result in one seriously tasty dish.
Pasta is a great ingredient in meals because you can toss it with just about anything you have on hand. This recipe is from Sweet Simple Vegan, and gurl is it good. For this one you’ll need pasta, garlic hummus (or any kind you like), cherry tomatoes, non-dairy milk, and some fresh parsley or basil. Yup, that’s it. Of course, if you wanna add some other stuff, nobody is going to stop you. But really, this stuff is perfectly yummy as is. Oh yeah, it’s also vegan!
If you like meatballs, and you’ve never had a meatball sub, you don’t know what you’re missing. They’re meaty, cheesy, saucy bits of goodness that you hold in your hand and devour in minutes. This recipe from The Seasoned Mom uses either frozen or refrigerated pre-made meatballs to keep the ingredient list low, and seriously cut down on cooking time. These are super delish, just make sure you have napkins handy.
A little cheesy, a little garlicky, and oh so good, this recipe comes at you thanks to Layers of Happiness.
While it does call for quinoa, this recipe would still be uber nom-worthy using your fave type of rice. Not only does this one have a short ingredient list, but it also comes together in an absolute snap.

Some people might say you can’t have Nutella for breakfast. But, we are not those people. We’re better than that. If the picture on its own is not enough to inspire you to make this dish, we don’t know what to say. This stuff is beyond heavenly. Just be aware that you’ll have to stick it in the fridge and let it chill for about 2 hours before baking. We’d tell you not to drool, but that would make us hypocrites.
