What Your Favorite Animal Says About You

For some of us, choosing a favorite animal is hard. With so many cute and cuddly creatures in the world to pick from, it can be difficult to single out one as your absolute fave. For others of us, we definitely have a certain type we’d love to have at least a dozen of. But, what does your favorite animal say about you? Often, your choice of critter will reflect your own personality traits.

Dogs/Wolves

If you’re a total dog person, chances are really good that you’re loyal and friendly. You’re also likely fairly extroverted and typically have no issue making friends. You’re fiercely protective of the people you love and care about.

Cats/Tigers/Lions Etc

If you feel that felines are where it’s at, you’re probably incredibly independent. While a curious sort, you prefer to do things on your own terms and likely prefer jobs and situations where you’re either the boss, or can work mostly on your own. You would normally rather lead than follow.

Horses

If your favorite animal is a horse, you are likely all about adventure. Whereas some people find comfort in routine, you prefer to keep things interesting and regularly shake things up. You’re always down for a last minute trip, and enjoy meeting new people and seeing new places. You get restless easily, but are also cheerful and strong.

Birds

Optimistic and intelligent, you like to keep moving. You likely lead a very active lifestyle and tend to shy away from the idea of settling down in any way. You tend to feel stagnant when you’re in one spot or job for too long, and often yearn for something new. You aren’t afraid to take risks and are always looking to broaden your horizons.

Fish/Whales/Dolphins

If your favorite animal has fins and lives in the water, you’re likely smart and know exactly what you want. You probably also have always known exactly what direction you want to take in life. You enjoy routine, rather than fear it or become annoyed by it. You have a strong sense of you, and are comfortable with your place in the world.
