5 A-List Celebrities with Arabic Tattoos

There’s nothing I love more than a little bit of ink – and it seems like most of Hollywood would agree with me! Tattoos have literally become the new must-have accessory – from small & super cute symbols, to full sleeves that tell deep stories, and some just for the love of art – this form of self expression has really become a norm amongst some of our favorite celebs. What’s even cooler, is that these 5 A-listers got inked in Arabic – which we LOVE! Check out these 5 celebrities who got Arabic Tattoos!

1) Selena Gomez

Selena sports one of the coolest Arabic tattoos on her back, that she got in June 2014 by artist Bang Bang.  Her tattoo is a beautiful reminder to “Love Yourself First “ | “أحب نفسك أولاً

2) Rihanna

With over 25 tats adorned on her body, Princess Riri is nothing short of a tattoo enthusiast. 1 of the 25 is a gorgeous Arabic script tattoo located on her left rib, that reads “Freedom of Messiah/God” | “الحرية في المسيح

This Irish heart throb is no stranger to tattoos, he has 6 tattoos all with a special meaning behind it. Of course our favorite one is the one on his wrist,  an Arabic script tattoo that says “freedom” |  الحرية

5) Zayn Malik

Now would Zayn even be Zayn without his gorgeous TATTOOS? I think not! This celeb has an extremely eclectic collection of tattoos that make up for 2 full sleeves, and an extremely sweet tattoo on his chest. Zayn has the name Walter tattooed onto there in Arabic, in remembrance of his grandfather – could he be anymore sweet?! On the flip side, Zayn also sports another Arabic tattoo on his collarbone that has become quite the controversial piece. It is a trans-literation of “be true to who you are”. Fans criticize that the pop sensation should have actually gotten the Arabic tattoo with its Arabic meaning, instead of just sounding out the English quote – what do you guys think?
