Must-See Netflix For February

Well, we have officially made it into the second month of 2021. While some of us might be ready to cancel our subscription to the new year, our Netflix subscription isn’t going anywhere! Here’s what you’ll want to make sure to devote some of your precious binge time to in February.

Firefly Lane: Feb 3

Even if the impending arrival of Valentine’s Day has you feeling a certain kinda way, there’s always room for a show about the love between besties. This series is based on the novels by Kristin Hannah. The show follows the friendship and lives of two gals over 30 years, including all those highs and lows. This one is sure to hit you right in the feels, so you might wanna keep some tissues handy while you binge.

Malcolm & Marie: Feb 5

This film has been highly anticipated, and the reviews are rather polarizing. On one hand, you have people who are absolutely loving it for its rawness and out-of-the-box approach. On the other, you have people saying it’s too much rambling and not enough substance. The movie was shot bare-bones during the pandemic, and it’s visually gorgeous. It explores the complexities of relationships and how quickly we can sometimes tear them apart. This one is definitely a “you’ll either love it or hate it” flick, but worthy of a spot on the list.

iCarly: Feb 8

Looking for a bit of a nostalgia fix? Welp, then you’ll want to hit up seasons 1 and 2 when iCarly hits Netflix on the 8th. There is yet no word as to whether Netflix will be bringing the rest of the beloved Nickelodeon show to the roster any time soon. But for now, we’ll gladly take what we can get. With a reboot of the original series on the way, now is the time to revisit those past episodes.

The Girl On The Train: Feb 26

A good thriller can be hard to beat, and this film based on the page-turning book, promises to deliver. It’s one of those flicks that is going to leave you guessing until the very end, with plenty of satisfying and bewildering twists and turns along the way.
