The fountain of youth resides in animation. Think of some your favorite cartoon characters of all time. Year after year, we got older, but they stayed the same age. But, what if they did age? Just how old would they be today? Prepare to have your mind blown. And maybe, feel just a little old.
Though SpongeBob’s age has always been somewhat ambiguous, there was an episode that showed his driver’s license. His date of birth was listed as 7-14-86. Going by that date, that would make SpongeBob 33 years old currently. May we all retain our sense of childlike wonder into our 30’s, just like him.

At the beginning of the delightfully quirky show Adventure Time, Finn is said to be 12 years old. He’s also thought to be the only known human in the entire Land of Ooo. Finn was a rare exception to the no aging rule when it comes to animated series. His growing up was actually an integral part of the story line. As such, when the show aired its final season, Finn was 17 years old. Meaning, that Finn would have just celebrated his 18th birthday.
A famous Walt Disney quote goes, “I only hope that we don’t lose sight of one thing- that it was all started by a mouse.” Well, today, that mouse who helped to launch countless movies, series, theme parks, and all things Disney, would be 90 years old. We hear he has a very nice retirement plan.
When Ash first embarked on his journey to catch Pokemon and become the world’s greatest Pokemon master, he was a very precise age. He was 10 years, 10 months, and 10 days old. Fast forward all these years later, and Ash would be around 31 years old. We have no idea about how many months and days. Sorry. Hopefully he and Pikachu are still besties. We kinda feel like he’d still be rocking that same outfit though.
