Delightful Disney App Games

Quick! How many Disney characters can you name off the top of your head? If your childhood included fond memories of sitting in front of the TV, mesmerized by singing princesses and spunky sidekicks, we’re willing to bet you can name quite a few. With Disney lately acquiring a lot of other popular film and comic book properties, their reach continues to grow. If you still can’t seem to get quite enough Disney, look no further. We’ve found some fun Disney app games that will be sure to have you feeling nostalgic and like a kid again in no time.

Castle of Illusion

If you’re old enough to have had a Sega Genesis game system, you might remember this game. If not, well, this will be a whole new adventure. Minnie has been kidnapped! It’s your job as Mickey to traverse dark and haunted forests, find your way out of sprawling mazes, and generally defeat numerous foes along the way. You’ll have five fantastical worlds to explore, as you race to save the day and complete challenges along the way. You can also complete hidden challenges to unlock costumes for the indomitable mouse. This game does cost a small fee, but it’s about the price of a cup of a good large coffee.

Disney Heroes: Battle Mode

This game is almost constantly seeing new content and updates to its gameplay. In this addictive and immersive game, you’ll play as any number of both Disney and Pixar characters. Level them up and form teams of your favorites to send into battle. The game takes place in Digital City. It’s been overrun by a terrible virus that corrupts every pixel it comes across. It’s your job to hunt down the reason the virus is spreading, and to save fellow heroes from its wicked effects. There’s a lot to do in this game, and special limited time events are regularly available. However, a casual player should not be afraid to play. You can take most things at your own pace.

Disney Emoji Blitz

If you’re into match three games, you’ll love this app game. Disney seems to understand that one of the keys to keeping players interested is by frequently adding new content. Such is the case here, with new events, characters, and usable emojis being added all the time. Events frequently coincide with new movie releases, and there are also holiday-themed events. This game, while simple, still presents a challenge. You’ll find yourself addicted to this one pretty quickly. Especially when you’re trying to earn that favorite character you don’t have yet. Better cancel your plans tonight.

Disney Crossy Road

If you played and loved Crossy Road, we’ve got great news. It comes in Disney flavor now! Yey! This 8-bit retro throwback style game will have you trying to cross the road without getting squished with over 100 Pixar and Disney characters. But it’s not just the characters that will have your inner child squealing with delight. You’ll recognize the in-game music as some of your favorite Disney Tunes. As if that weren’t enough, you won’t be crossing just any roads. Here you’ll be working your way through settings like The Pride Lands from The Lion King, Al’s Toy  Barn from Toy Story, and even The Haunted Mansion.
