90s Pop Groups That We Miss

Throwback songs just hit different when you’ve been listening to the radio a little too much. The 90s were a decade that is completely unforgettable in terms of the music industry. From some of today’s biggest artists to some of the most iconic boy and girl groups of the world – here are 90s pop groups that we miss and can never stop listening to!

Destiny’s Child

We just have to start this list off with one of the most iconic girl groups to ever exist – Destiny’s Child! Destiny’s Child was an American girl group whose final and best-known line-up comprised Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams. Their hit songs are still relevant today and are absolutely iconic. From ‘Say my Name’, to ‘Survivor’ this group was the musical definition of women empowerment.

Backstreet Boys

Tell me Why!… this iconic boyband isn’t around anymore? The group consists of AJ McLean, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, and Brian Littrell. The group rose to fame with their debut international album, Backstreet Boys. Although they’ve recently performed together a few times, we still miss them as a band.

Spice Girls

Another girl group that made headlines all around the world back in the 90s was the English group ‘The Spice Girls’. The group comprises Melanie Brown, also known as Mel B, Melanie Chisholm, also known as Mel C, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, and Victoria Beckham, and are best known for their song ‘Wannabe’. The girls are split up now and on to other things, but we can’t help but still jam along to their music.

NSYNC

Bye, bye, bye NSYNC – you are missed! NSYNC consisted of Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and Lance Bass. Although They do still make their own music, we do miss their hits as a group and the boys are all definitely still heartthrobs to all the 90s girls out there!

B*Witched

Our last group comes all the way from Ireland! B*Witched are an Irish girl group consisting of twin sisters Edele and Keavy Lynch, Lindsay Armaou and Sinéad O’Carroll. We definitely miss them together and wish they made more music, but. C’est La Vie.
