Club Penguin

It would be absurd not to start this list off with Club Penguin! Club Penguin was a massively multiplayer online game, involving a virtual world that contained a range of online games and activities. Players used cartoon penguin-avatars and played in a winter-set virtual world. You could play games, decorate your igloos, and, of course, adopt Puffles!

ourWorld

ourWorld was definitely a world of its own. We absolutely loved playing this game as kids and looking back on it gives us nostalgia – we might just have to create an account after this. ourWorld is a virtual world containing a range of online games and activities. It was developed by FlowPlay and is aimed at the teen and tween demographic. When did you start playing ourWorld?

Webkinz World

Do you remember buying your stuffed animal just so you could get a code to play this online game? Webkinz World is a multi-award-winning virtual world for boys and girls aged 6+. Players discover a whole world of fun, caring, and learning, while they adopt and play with their pets, decorate rooms, play games, collect prizes, and chat with their friends! Millsberry

Millsberry was an advergame, created by General Mills in July 2004 as a marketing tool. It had shops, homes, an arcade, special events, and a weekly newspaper called the Millsberry Gazette, which told you the happenings in Millsberry. Unfortunately, this virtual game is no longer available to play, but we will always cherish the memories!
