La Perle by Dragone

Created by the legendary artistic director Franco Dragone, the story of La Perle pays homage to the UAE’s pearl diving history in spectacular style thanks to the purpose-built theatre, where gushing waterfalls and torrents of rain flood the stage and then drain within seconds. For a truly unique theatre experience, book tickets to La Perle – the region’s first permanent show that combines breathtaking choreography, daring stunts and a novel ‘aqua theatre’. The event ends on March 31st!

Ragheb Alama

Ya Rait hitmaker Ragheb Alama is treating fans to an evening of his biggest songs of all time at the Dubai Opera. Capturing the spotlight after appearing on Studio El Fan in the 1980s, the Lebanese musician has earned his crown as one of the region’s most beloved performers. Mark your calendars for the 12th of March and book your tickets. Tickets range from AED 400 – AED 1200.

Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Championships

Watch some of the biggest names in tennis thrash it out to win big at the Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Stadium. Having been voted ‘Best Venue’ by players on the ATP World Tour, the stadium is a state-of-the-art facility for players and offers fans a great view of the matches. See every spin, slice, and smash from the world’s best in tennis over the course of 14 action-packed days from March 7th to March 20th.

The Billy Joel Songbook

Celebrate Billy Joel, one of the greatest artists and songwriters of the 20th century, at Dubai Opera on 18 March. Sensational musician Elio Pace and his talented band will be performing the biggest hits from the star’s illustrious career such as Piano Man and Uptown Girl in this one-night-only show that has sold out during its international tours.

Dubai World Cup

Catch Dubai’s action-packed horse racing series as it hits a resounding peak of glamour and competition at the 26th Dubai World Cup. A highlight in the sporting and social calendar, this tournament is considered the world’s richest day of horse racing. Make sure you’re free on March 27th and do not miss this major event!

Aziz Maraka

 

The Jordanian musician has had all eyes on him since his breakout number Bent El Nas, the product of a senior graduation project made waves across the region. His unique Arabic rock-jazz compositions – dubbed as ‘Razz’ – seamlessly combine Maraka’s ancestral musical heritage with western influence, adding the artist to a growing list of stars rewriting the landscape of Arabic pop music. See him perform hits from his two albums, including the 2010 release Leka@Eka3, which features Lebanon’s world-famous indie-rock band Mashrou3 Leila this March 19th. Tickets from AED 245 – AED 545.

Art Dubai

Art Dubai sheds a bright light on contemporary and modern creations from around the world. The 14th season is officially set to return in March 2021 with a slew of thought-provoking exhibitions and experiences planned across the country to celebrate the UAE’s 50th anniversary from March 29th – April 3rd.
