The Best Looks Of Fashion Week

Twice a year, Fashion Week hits three major cities —New York, Milan, and Paris (in that order)—and fashionista’s flock to see the best looks that fashion has to offer. From the empire state to the city of lights, we can also look forward to getting some major style and beauty inspo when Fashion Week rolls around. Though this season of Fashion Week doesn’t officially end until early March, we think it’s safe to say that Fashion Week, but on the runway and in the city streets has done fashionista’s major justice.

Check out these Fashion Week looks that currently have us swooning!

Graphic Liner looks

This is not your basic eyeliner liner look! This Fashion Week season, we saw a lot of emphasis on the eyes, namely with liner. Some brands played with color while others played it safe with just black.

Unadulterated denim

This just in—denim is no longer just for jeans! Denim is a textile made for every article of clothing, from head to toe.

⠀ ⠀👕 This jacket is one of my most successful purchases this year. Not all the things I buy are getting into the category of “favorites”. But this one – has got there!

Socks and Sandals

This look isn’t for the faint-hearted. However, it’s definitely worth giving a try!

Co-rd Set, Go

Matching co-rd sets have been trending for some time now. From the looks of these Fashion Week Street Style looks, we can count on it trending for the next few seasons to come.

In January, I took a financial prosperity class taught by @maryamhasnaa and it made me realize that I’ve been thinking about money & abundance all wrong. The class taught me that it’s high time I define what success is to me & change how I talk about what I have. If you feel like you’re lacking or speak of lack, you attract more lack. If you speak of having enough or having more than you need, you will be blessed with more. I went to NYC for a weekend. Knowing that I would spend more that weekend than most weekends. Not knowing how or where the funds would come from & not even knowing how life will continue when I get back home. I felt a nudge to trust and “just do it.” I felt that if this is something that I am passionate about & should be doing, that God will open the doors that need to be opened in order for me to be fully taken care of and THEY WERE! I met so many beautiful & kind souls who I know I will see again & possibly work with. Atleast 2/3 times a day I thought, “I can’t believe this is happening. I’m so grateful to God!” My photos were featured in 3 articles in @refinery29, If that ain’t God saying “keep going, you got it!” Idk what is! I’m actually still shocked about this 😭 . I say all this to say; take a bet on yourself, don’t let yourself get discouraged by this broken economic system! Stop comparing yourself to any/everyone! Continue to dream big and work to break out of whatever shell you are in AND IF YOU HAVE NO ONE, DO IT ALONE!! You will be okay, I promise you. . Life is not a rehearsal! Do not live in regret, live in the moment sometimes. Your happiness depends on it ✨ . . Photos captured by: @pollyirungu, one of the sweetest people I met in NY and hope to work with in the future ❤️ . . #nyfw #nyfw2020 #2020 #girlboss #ladyhustler #inspiredwomen #fashioninfluencer #model #dmvmodel #kenyanmodel #womenempoweringwomen #abundance #noregretswoman #liveinthemoment #refinery29

Bucket hats

The 80s/90’s style has been a go-to for a lot of us as of late. The latest throwback that needs to be on your shopping list is a bucket hat.

Monochromatic Mania

Noting quite says, “I’ve arrived” than dipping yourself in one shade from head-to-toe.

Layered Up

When in doubt, wear everything that tickles your fancy and make it fashion.
