Maxi Dresses To Wear!

At the first sight of orange leave and cold breeze, some of us jump on the opportunity of wearing their cardigans their sweaters and jackets. For others it means knitted dresses, boots and trench coats.

For me it means that I have to find creative ways to extend my summer wardrobe into fall weather as I highly dislike sweaters and coats.

One of the ways I have succeeded in doing that is by shopping maxi dresses in warmer and darker tones and wearing them with boots, a cape and a hat!

Maxi dresses are perfect as they allow you to be comfortable, they shape your body depending on how tight you wear them, and they can cover your un-shaved legs and even keep you warm if you add a pair of tights! You can also wear them at work, out shopping, at dinner and even at a party, they are the perfect wardrobe staple that we all must have and for that occasion, we have gathered out top 15 dresses below

Rixo

One of the best brands to offer Maxi Dresses is Rixo. Rixo’s story began in the London living room of best friends Henrietta Rix and Orlagh McCloskey out of their passion for vintage.

Their philosophy is to evoke a wanderlust and free spirit in all their clients, filling a gap in the contemporary market with easy-t-wear, feminine shapes and high-quality materials. Having had their eye trained from an early age, the founders have grown passionately absorbed by vintage and eccentric oddities. The borderline hoarders travel the world trawling endless flea markets, searching for trinkets and treasures. They always encourage their clients to style Rixo pieces with vintages finds.

We love the Jess dress, a new season classic that can be worn over and over again with a high neckline, gathered short sleeves and a maxi length hem, the woman in this dress is chic and contemporary in her style. The red leopard print makes it perfect for cold weather dressing, think black biker boots and a statement leather jacket.

Another novelty is the new knitwear collection at Rixo and the Annie dress is part of their debut collection. This long sleeve knit midi dress in green has contrasting red cuffs and collar and puts a refined spin on relaxed tailoring. Pair it with black boots and a statement earring and get ready for heads to turn.

LoveShackFancy

Another great name is LoveShackFancy, a brand inspired by vintage finds. LSF is rich in detail, flattering silhouettes, soft hues, and intricate lace with an emphasis on whimsical hand-dyed fabrics and enchanting vintage-inspired romantic floral prints.

Embracing unabashed femininity and strength, LSF was founded by Creative Director Rebecca Hessel Cohen while immersed in an editorial fashion career. After designing the ideal bridesmaid’s dresses for her fairy-tale wedding.

LSF is an extension of Rebecca’s world, rooted in travel and forever inspired by her mother; the original LoveShack muse and one of our favorites in the Liliana dress that makes its entrance in a vintage inspired silhouette with hand applied sequin cluster.

This sheer sparkling gown’s scooped neckline is trimmed with layered tulle and has two seams below the bust to frame the waistline. It’s is the perfect dress to go out in and to dance the night away.
