What to Wear at Disneyland

Disneyland is the happiest place on the planet, where kids and adults get to feel free, to have fun and to let loose to every childhood fantasy.

You get to discover a spectacle like no other as you’re literally surrounded by a mesmerizing mix of breathtaking pyrotechnics and jaw-dropping visual effects.

One minute, you’re standing on Main Street, U.S.A. And the next, you’re transported to the worlds of timeless Disney tales—soaring over London with Peter Pan, stampeding across Simba’s Pride Lands, diving down under the sea with Nemo and friends, or caught up in a swirling snow flurry right out of Frozen!

Using all Main Street, U.S.A. and iconic Disneyland locations like the Matterhorn mountain, Rivers of America and “it’s a small world” as its stage, this showcase takes you on an amazing adventure that proves just how magical The Happiest Place on Earth can be.

It’s a place where you can meet the heroes you grew up with, and even though we would all love to go there dressed in a costume, the fact is it’s not allowed (except on Halloween) so we have come up with another way to incorporate your inner Disney Princess in your everyday wardrobe in order to feel at home during your next visit to Disneyland.

Comfort is key

The park is quite grand and the attractions numerous and for that reason, we recommend you wear comfortable shoes, but comfortable can still mean Disney friendly, we crushed on these beautiful Mickey Mouse silver sequins sneakers by Master of Arts, wear them with a pair of black ripped jeans and a black T-shirt.

Say yes to sequins

You can also add to the look a pair of customized Minnie Mouse Ears and we fell for these silver and gold sequined Cinderella castle ear headband.

Dress for the magic

If you don’t feel like wearing jeans and would prefer to walk around in a dress, then we have the perfect one for you.

Put on this baby blue pleated dress with a buttoned-up front and the best print of the movie UP.

The right sleeve is covered with the colorful balloons and that print goes all the way down to the skirt where is shifts into the house and old man Carl Fredricksen.

Wear the dress with these relaxed white sneakers that feature little prints of Mickey Mouse.

Make the rides your priority

Another great look to sport around Disneyland is shorts with a branded T-Shirt from the Disney store, we really like this white one with red bands with a Mickey Mouse print in the center.

Wear it with some sandals that carry the same print and a red hoodie; this look is very relaxed and will allow you to move around freely and to try on every ride.

One for the villains

Our final look is a bit edgier but still park friendly, it’s composed of a long black T-shirt that features some Disney movie characters, with it you can wear a pink denim jacket with a sailor Minnie Mouse on the back and to top it off just add some pink sequined ear headband for a bit of fun.
