About the Brand

Originally established in 2001, Frou Frou humbly began as the first silk scarf store in Dubai. Due to growing demand, the three sisters behind the brand slowly began to introduce silk and taffeta abayas. In 2018, the founders decided it was time to pass Frou Frou onto the next generation. Their daughters are now at the helm continuing what their mothers started while reaching a younger target market.

Drawing inspiration from nature through to architecture, Frou Frou embraces classic silhouettes with a feminine yet modern touch.

Turning a new page for Ramadan 2021, Frou Frou’s latest collection ‘Tales of 2021’ signals the beginning of a new chapter for the womenswear label. Merging past with the present, the brand references its heritage
while looking to the future through modern silhouettes, intricate detailing, and luxurious fabrics.

The natural color palette emphasizes understated elegance in cream, dusty pink, pale blue, olive, and grey. Beautiful fabrics ranging from silk to organza allows each style to tell its own story. A frayed neon tweed skirt adds a splash of color while a tiered dress crafted from straw and overlaid with a sheer panel has a modern touch.

Silhouettes take shape in the form of balloon sleeve kaftans, high neck dresses, and coat cut abayas. Draping and gathered sleeves are tied together with braided leather belts while oversized bows create a sense of whimsy.
