How To: Bake A Banana Bread

If you’re a person who loves bananas, then this one’s for you! If you don’t like bananas, then worry not! This could also benefit you in baking it for someone you know who does love it!

Banana bread is a sweet, moist, and cake-like quick bread that could be done in around 40 minutes. The best part is, the ingredients are super simple and it could be done in various ways – depending on the ingredients you put. For now, I will be giving you the simple, basic, and plain recipe on how to bake a banana bread. Also, I will be informing you the variations of ingredients you could add in, in order to spice up your banana bread.

Ingredients:

  • 2 to 3 very ripe bananas, peeled (about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cups mashed)
  • 1/3 cup melted butter, unsalted or salted
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar (1/2 cup if you would like it less sweet, 1 cup if more sweet)
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
