#SundayFunday: House Gathering Games to Play with Friends

We’ve all been at those gatherings where the conversation gets a little too boring halfway through – awkward! When that happens, suggest a game to play – or, better yet, have some prepared beforehand! Don’t know what to suggest? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. From all-time classics like truth or dare to funny and entertaining card games to play – you won’t be left questioning what to do in situations that get a little to awkward – especially if it’s your gathering!

What do you Meme?

Meme lovers, this one’s for you! ‘What Do You Meme?’ is a hilarious party card game in which players propose caption cards as a match to a designated photo card of viral internet memes. The judge of the round chooses the caption that they think is the best match to photo card, and whoever played that card gets a point.

Cards Against Humanity

A little 18+ fun with this card game. Cards Against Humanity is a party game in which players complete fill-in-the-blank statements using words or phrases typically deemed as offensive, risqué or politically incorrect printed on playing cards. Whoever has the most absurd match-up wins the round!

Never Have I Ever

“Never Have I Ever”, also known as “I’ve Never…” or “Ten Fingers”, is a drinking/dare game in which players take turns asking other players about things they haven’t done. Other players who have done this thing respond by taking a drink or doing a dare after all of their fingers have gone down.

Truth or Dare

We’re ending this list off with an all-time classic – yup, Truth or Dare! This game has been a great time at parties for years and we couldn’t help but include it in this list. If you really don’t know the rules to this game – it’s simple! Sit in a circle and spin a bottle. Whoever the top of the bottle lands on has to ask the person on the other end of the bottle “truth or dare?” if they pick truth, they have to be asked an embarrassing question and if they pick dare, they have to do something to embarrass themselves – probably something they will have to tell the truth about at their next gathering.
