Whether you prefer Bella or Gigi, there’s no denying that the Hadid sisters fascinate us, and even more so since we discovered they were part Palestinian. Before her diagnosis with Lyme disease, Bella was a gifted equestrian and dreamt of participating in the Olympics for the sport. She spent most of her younger days riding horses on the ranch she grew up on in Santa Barbara, California.
While his daughters have been making quite a name for themselves as supermodels, financially speaking their dad still wins. The man is worth $400M dollars and has made his fortune developing Ritz Carlton hotels and mega mansions worldwide.

Bella Hadid had initially moved to New York to study fashion photography at Parsons School of Design, and says modelling was always Gigi’s thing. While she dropped out of school to pursue modelling, she believes her passion for photography helped know what looks good and how to move in front of the camera.

The model’s father is of Palestinian origin and she says they used to pray together when she was younger. While she’s not open about her faith, there is no doubt that she is proud of her heritage and where she comes from.
Bella Hadid and her sister Gigi were seen protesting for a pro refugee and immigrant cause in the United States, and says she believes all people should be treated with respect and kindness – say it louder for the people in the back!
It’s always nice to see someone who fits the cookie-cutter-gorgeous mold speaking out against something that might be beneficial to her as it is. So, having Bella Hadid call for inclusivity of body types and backgrounds in the industry just warms our hearts.
When she was forced to stop riding in 2016 due to her illness the model also sold her horse, she says the step was absolutely agonizing for her.

Starting her career at a juice shop is certainly miles away from the international modelling career Bella Hadid ended up in, she was even cleaning dishes and cashiering. Everyone starts somewhere right, you go girl!
