Blazers are a staple no matter the weather, it’s the perfect piece of clothing that can elevate a look, take you from a day outfit to a night one or even boost your self-confidence. Today we take a look at the many ways blazers were worn on the grid by some of the most followed influencers in the region.
Let’s start with Lebanese born Dana Hourani who wore a yellow blazer over black shorts and tights and made a whole look out of it. Dana uses the blazer as a top as it is meant to remain on at all times and accessories it with a black belt strapped twice around her waist; it’s a rather easy move to try at home and we recommend you do it with tight pants or even a pair of jeans.

Karen Wazen is also a blazer fan and can be seen wearing a checkered one over a long sleeved cropped top and a pair of blue jeans, a relaxed and cool look to imitate when you are running errands but still want to look stylish. Top off the look with a cool hat for an edgy look.

Lana is on our list for this ultimate long blazer look. It’s light blue in satin and full length, she wears it with a metallic turtle neck and long white satin gloves for an elevated look. The look is lush and elevated and can be recreated for a special occasion, imagine showing up for a wedding in that outfit, it would be breathtaking!

Egyptian-born Zeynab El Helw the face behind Fashion Pirate teaches us that you can definitely play with the texture of your blazer. She wears a black leather blazer over a white shirt and black tie giving it a tuxedo look but she breaks it by adding in a skirt. The outfit is perfect for work and meetings as its business oriented and feminine proving that women can definitely do it all.

Nour Arida teaches us that not all blazer were born equal, hers is out of this world! It has elevated shoulder pads that give it a galactic feel. She keeps the look simple by going all white making sure the focus remains on the jacket. You can also do the same, all you need is a heavily ornate blazer or a futuristically designed one and just continue the whole outfit in the same color as the IT piece.

Lana El Sahely wears a total jean look, reminding us that jeans blazers are still on trend and that you can wear them at work and look professional. Imagine yourself presenting to your upper management in that look, it’s millennial, it’s fashion forward and it looks marvelous.

Anum Bashir, the founder of Desert Mannequin opts for a more feminine approach, she wears her favorite tunic (heavily printed I might add) with a black blazer that has prints of its own. Moral of the story? Mix the prints, don’t be afraid even if they are completely unrelated, it will give you a hipster look that will definitely catch the eyes of many.

Leena Al Ghouti has probably been wearing blazers since the moment she was born, and our guess is that she also sleeps in them. She loves them, and we love them on her; especially this outfit. She put a checkered blazer with checkered pants of different colors and it looks so good.

Ola Farahat turns a regular blazer into a dress and it’s an awesome look that’s simple and edgy at the same time. Plenty of stores now offer blazer dresses and we recommend you get them in either black or white to keep them looking elegant.
