Calling all foodies – new restaurant in downtown, Dubai! Located in the building once inhabited by British icon Fortnum and Mason next to The Dubai Mall, Public is the place to be for some great Italian cuisine, extraordinary views, and all the hype. The Atmosphere

With exposed ceilings, stainless-steel tables with splatters of color, and bold graphic text and stickers, Public is definitely a trendy atmosphere that is – of course – perfect for Instagram shots. The building itself is actually spread over three floors – the ground floor is where you will find Public, the second floor is a TBA Independent concept that coming soon and the third floor is dedicated to the company’s iconic burger brand, Salt!

The restaurant is family-friendly and there are a few arcade games to entertain small and big kids alike. With indoor and outdoor seating, you can enjoy the interior of the restaurant itself, or the incredible views of Downtown Dubai. There is even an inviting open kitchen complete with a huge, impressive pizza oven! Ready to head down there yet? Wait till you hear about the food.

The Food

The menu features Italian and American favorites including sharing starters, pizzas, pasta dishes and risotto, and more tantalizing tastes that are also reasonably affordable! For drinks, there are some tempting mocktails and specialty coffee powered by Indpt’s Grind Coffee.

With the array of delicious dishes on Public’s menu, some top tastes are the potato cauliflower – a baked, layered potato with cauliflower and seasoned cream sauce topped with cheese, the Summertime Salad – mixed cheese, corn, heirloom tomato and lettuce served with house sauce, the corn ribs – just because the concept of corn as ribs was super cool, and lastly, Public’s Original pizza. You just can’t come to Public and not eat pizza. Topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and fresh basil leaves – you will have no regrets!

Head down there any day from 12 pm to 10 pm and feast away!
