Quick Bite: Midnight Snacks Edition

Nighttime eating may be the result of overly restricted daytime food intake, leading to ravenous hunger at night. It may also be caused by habit or boredom. Throughout these unfortunate times, a lot of us have adapted to this behavior – and for good reason – but, it’s nothing you should feel guilty about! Midnight snacks are great and, boy, do we have the list of our ultimate faves lined up for you today. Tired of your bag of chips and candies? Keep reading to upgrade your midnight snack game!

Jalapenos, Cream Cheese, and Takis

Okay… so if you’re not on TikTok, this may be a little confusing. This snack that started going viral on the platform has gained so much attention that it has become almost everyone’s ultimate favorite midnight snack! Simply hollow out your Jalapenos, fill it up with your favorite cream cheese, and stick some Takis in there! We promise you won’t regret it – just make sure all the Jalapenos seeds are out if you aren’t a spicy food lover.

Ritz Crackers, Cheese and Turkey

Yup, another iconic trio! If you love your savory food and want something to fill you up, this will definitely do the trick. All you have to do is grab a few Ritz crackers out of your pantry, get a slice of cheddar cheese and divide it equally so that you can place it on your cracker, and do the same with a slice of turkey. Thank us later!

Peanut Butter and Banana

This sweet midnight snack is absolutely to-die-for – and guess what? Its healthy too! Peal your banana and spread some peanut butter on it and you’re good to go. If you like a little crunch in your snack, you can always replace your spread with some crunchy peanut butter, or even mash your banana up, mix it with your creamy peanut butter, and crush up some granola to sprinkle on to the top. Delicious!
