Yes, Dubai is known for its luxury and fancy brunch, lunch, and dinner spots – but why not save a little money and eat some great street food for a change? The UAE is filled with corner cafes and cafeterias that are great for a lunch on-the-go, or even take away to bring home to your family or if you’re having a movie night with your friends. Not only is the food delicious, but also budget-friendly! Do you have a favorite cafeteria right here in the UAE? Keep reading to find out ours.

Al Ijaza

Made popular by the Emirati film “City of Life,” Al Ijaza cafeteria serves some great food, juices, and more. This one is a little more on the expensive side for a cafeteria due to its prominence in the region, but you can never drive by this place without it being packed with cars lined up down the side of Jumeirah Beach Road to get their orders taken – that should tell you something!

Known for its mouthwatering mana’eesh and delicious falafel, Mallah has several branches located all around the UAE – thank goodness, because we crave it all the time! If you’re craving Lebanese street food, this is definitely the place to go. This might just be the best mana’eesh in the whole city and it’s less than 15Dhs!

Antar

Did someone say shawarma? Hassoun Matar? They must be talking about going to Antar – and those are just two of the great things you can order at this place! From Warqaa to Al Satwa, to Jumeirah – you can find Antar Cafeteria almost anywhere in Dubai and, boy, do they have some yummy food!

Eat and Drink

Last on our list is another popular cafeteria that seems to be booming all around the UAE; Eat and Drink. From the typical and popular shawarma, to a variety of sandwiches you can order with some fries and a soda, and, of course, the juices that everyone goes to cafeterias for, this one is definitely worth trying out!
