Best Places To Watch NYE Fireworks In Dubai

The New Year will soon be upon us. For some, that means a fresh start and a chance to begin anew. New Years Eve celebrations are a big deal worldwide. Fireworks are typically a huge part of the deal. Once that clock strikes midnight, the skies are lit up with a riot of color and joyful explosions. Dubai certainly knows how to put on a gorgeous firework display for the festivities. If you’re curious where to go to get the best views in our amazing city, read on.

Burj Khalifa

Even though there are currently plans to take its title, the Burj Khalifa is still the world’s tallest building. It would stand to reason that the World Record holder would put on one heck of a fireworks display. Between the laser show, and the spectacular fireworks, Burj Khalifa certainly has never disappointed onlookers and NYE revelers. If you want to witness the festivities up close, you’ll want to get here early. Arrive by at least 6pm to secure a prime spot. Just be advised that elbow room will be pretty much nonexistent.

Global Village

Why settle for one fireworks display, when you can see 7! The big countdown to midnight can be found at Fantasy Island’s big wheel. There’s also the fireworks set to music that take place around the Dancing Fountain. But, that’s not all. You’ll also get to witness fireworks displays for each country in the village, which will go off at the time each country hits midnight in its own time zone. Live music is typically also part of the fun.

Burj Al Arab

If you fancy your fireworks with a side of beach, then you’ll want to head to Burj Al Arab for your fun. You could even grab a spot right on Kite Beach to ohhh and ahhh the night away. Access to the beach is free, and there are plenty of cafes nearby. Or, just bring a blanket and a hamper of nibbles and host your own New Years Eve beach picnic. Burj Al Arab has been known to put on a rather lengthy show, so you’re sure to get a lot of bang for your proverbial buck here. Just be advised, this spot will be busy.

Dubai Festival City

With a name like Festival City, you know they’re going to deliver on the New Years Eve goods. Here you’ll be treated to both a water and light show that is synchronized. If you want to dine and watch, consider making a reservation at one of the tasty eateries at the Festival City Mall. Just make sure that it overlooks Festival Bay.

The Pointe

Don’t quite have the money to splurge on staying at Atlantis, The Palm? Or the dosh to hit up the Royal Gala Dinner? Then head on over to The Pointe instead. It’s right across the bay, so you will still be able to enjoy all those fireworks, without the steep price tag to do so. Entry is free, and there are a ton of waterside restaurants that will offer up a good seat to watch.

HAPPY 48th UAE NATIONAL DAY EVERYONE ! The Pointe~Dubai~UAE Nikon D500~Nikkor 10-20mm f4.5-5.6 First things first….. • THIS IS A COMPOSITE IMAGE. • Yesterday’s fireworks was a huge disappointment. We were expecting the fireworks display right before the Atlantis or at least next to it as it seems to be in the above photo. So we expected the worst case scenario and took multiple long exposures of the entire landscape. • ‘We’ here are @jruzz and @tgfromdubai • Thank you for yesterday guys ! I got a chance to witness both of your professionalism and learnt a ton from both of you ! #nikond500 #d500 #nikon #dubai #dubainight #night #reflection #yourshotphotographer #longexposure #beautifulnight #lights #pink #thepointefireworksshow bluehourdubai #instagram #nikonmea #fireworks #pointe #thepointe #atlantisthepalm #dubaistory #nikonmea #uae #wideangle
