If the images of Marie Antoinette’s candy-colored shoes in Sophia Copolla’s movie still fill you with envy, then Midnight 00 or Midnight Zero Zero by Ada Kokosar is the new brand for you.
Created by Fashion editor and street style star turned designer Ada Kokosar as a mix between Cinderella with her dreamy glass slipper and Marie Antoinette’s lavish style with her luxurious fabrics in a modern and functional setting; Midnight 00 has grabbed the hearts and wallets of many.
For those who don’t know; Ada is half Slovenian, half Italian and she grew up in the Milan countryside where her imagination and style flourished into a distinctive trait that she capitalized on.
Over the years Ada has become a street-style staple at every fashion week, being noticed for her effortless look that is defined by voluminous silhouettes, a monochromatic palette, and utilitarian-inspired details. Ada is also known for her styling genius, she has worked with a vast repertoire of known brands that include Public School, Diane von Furstenberg, and Tome amongst many others. However, it’s her collaboration with Cesare Paciotti last year that rose her to fame. Hired to revamp the shoe line; she created a Paciotti by Midnight collection showcased during Paris couture week and filled with silk, satin, crystals, and pleats in the shape of pumps and ankle boots in bubblegum pink, baby blue, and pastel yellow.
Crafted in Italy with glittering clear-crystal embellishments and dense rushing to crease soft pleats, then covered in transparent PVC, the shoes are rain and party proof. Sold on e-commerce website MatchesFashion they became an instant hit and left the fashion crowd wanting more.

The success gave Ada a significant confidence boost and she launched alongside her business partner, Marco Calcinaro (Paciotti’s CEO) the label Midnight 00 by Ada Kokosar.
Her FW18 collection was a collaboration with her friend Dodo Bar Or and saw her dab her fingers in creating a clothing line alongside her shoe line. With inspiration from the show Dynasty and Barbie’s closet leading to fabulous clothes and shoes in polka dots, metallic pink and extravagant tulle ruffles.
Ada has big dreams for her label; she wants to turn Midnight 00 into a platform for creativity by collaborating with different talents in the creative world; in her own words: “I want to create a collective of brilliant minds.”
