If making your own cookies from scratch, consider cutting them out into a few different shapes. Once the cookies are baked and cooled, set out a decorating station. A few splashes of food coloring into some bowls of royal icing will give the cookies a pretty, smooth surface to decorate on. Put some icing in plastic food storage bags and snip off the very tip to be able to pipe designs, words, or whatever you wish on your cookies. Set out sprinkles, chocolate chips, coconut flakes or whatever you might like to add to your masterpieces!
For this party, gather some of your closest friends and a couple boxes of cake mix! It’s up to you how many flavors of cake to make, but you can never go wrong with one of each vanilla and chocolate.
