Delectable Dessert Dips

When you think of dips, you probably think of savory.  Maybe something simple like a vegetable platter with some hummus, or a hot and creamy item like a spinach artichoke dip. However, there are a whole bunch of dessert dips out there just waiting for you to discover. Since we are strongly behind pretty much anything “dessert”, we figured it was our duty to share some heavenly recipes that will have you dipping and dunking sweet goodness in no time. These would also be a fantastic, finger food type, go-to for a party or gathering.

Creamy Cannoli Dip

What’s not to love about a cannoli? Well, maybe making them from scratch. Between making sure the shells are perfectly fried, and the mess that can sometimes result from the stuffing process, they can be a bit of a pain in the bum. This dessert dip from Home Made Interest gives you all the delicious taste of a cannoli, in a fraction of the time, and with minimal mess. The filling goes in a bowl, then you serve with chocolate dipped waffle cone pieces, cookies, fruit, or even pieces of pre-made cannoli shells.

Monster Cookie Dough Dip

We all know that one person who could happily sit there with a bowl full of cookie dough and a spoon, and never actually bake a single cookie. It might even be a person who we see when we look in the mirror.  Cookie Dough And Oven Mitt has just the irresistible recipe for that person. It tastes just like cookie dough, but there’s no raw egg here. Though this version is cookie dough on steroids, with plenty of mix-ins, if you want a bit more of a basic version there is also this more simple chocolate chip cookie version. Either way, you can’t go wrong.

Hot Chocolate Dip

Delectable Dessert Dips - The Modern East

Hot chocolate in dip form? Yus, fam. We are here for it.  This recipe from Snacks and Sips is super easy and super delicious. It uses a brownie mix to impart a bold chocolate taste, while marshmallow and cream cheese work their magic to give it a creamy texture. If you can’t find marshmallow fluff, fear not! You can make your own just by melting down some regular marshmallows and letting them cool a bit before adding in. Serve with fruit, pretzels, and cookies and try not to eat the bowl in one sitting.

Craving cheesecake but don’t have the hours to dedicate to bake one? Well, all you need to get that flavor, in dessert dip form, is 15 minutes. Berly’s Kitchen shows you how to make this utterly yummy and unbelievably easy recipe. It’s topped with sinful chocolate sauce, chopped pecans, silky caramel, and chocolate chips. Not only is this one full of flavor, but it has a lovely texture. Serve with some digestive biscuits or graham crackers, or basically anything you have on hand. Pretty sure this stuff would make an old shoe taste heavenly.
