Deep Dish Red Velvet Cookies For Two

Warm, comforting, and utterly delicious, these cookies are a great Valentine’s Day dessert option. Their rich, red color will definitely have you feeling the love. These are definitely best served still a bit warm, and have a fun texture. Imagine if cake and a cookie had a delicious gooey baby. This would be their lovechild, and girl is it tasty. We definitely recommend topping them with a little extra chocolate sauce, and don’t forget the ice cream. If your SO enjoys rich and decadent desserts, this is perfect. Persian Love Cake

Kinda hard to go wrong with a Valentine’s Day dessert of love cake. This tasty recipe comes at you courtesy of At The Corner of Happy And Harried. The cake is absolutely lovely with hints of almond, cardamom, saffron, rose water, and pistachios. It smells divine, and the lemon glaze as a finishing touch brightens up the entire dessert. Anyone who tastes this is going to know they’re loved.

Raspberry And White Chocolate Shortbread Cookies

These adorable looking cookies would make for a great V-Day gift for friends, family, coworkers, and even your current crush. They’re really buttery, crumbly and scrumptious. The sharpness of the raspberry jam does wonders against the cookie and the sweetness of the chocolate. If the intended cookie recipient doesn’t love white chocolate, you can always omit it. Or, sub in some melted dark or milk chocolate instead of white. It definitely works either way. Scurry on over to Ahead of Thyme for the how to.

Strawberries And Cream Pie

Butter With a Side of Bread has the recipe for this very Valentine’s Day-esque dessert. It’s light, it’s flavorful, it’s yummy, and it’s sure to impress. It’s also silly easy to make, so if you’re not too confident in your dessert game, this one is perfect for you. It comes together really quickly as well, so it’s perfect for a last minute dinner date.

Chocolate Covered Strawberry Cakes

This Valentine’s Day dessert would be perfect for a Galentine’s Day get together. I’ve never made this cake and had anyone do anything but rave about it. The cake is really gorgeous to look at, for starters. But, the taste is also to die for. This is a recipe which requires a bit of work, as everything is made from scratch. Though, you could always cheat a little and used a boxed cake mix if you wanted to save a little bit of time. Personally, I also like to add a thin layer of a nice thick hot fudge sauce between the cake and icing layers. But with or without this extra ingredient, these little cakes are divine. The recipe also works for making just one big layer cake too, if you don’t want to make individual ones. Head over to Sugar Hero for the recipe.
