#Recipe: Shawarma Nachos

Does it even get more classic than Chips Oman? It’s the ultra local fav. To the point of (don’t hate me for saying this) being totally overdone. And yet here we are, still talking about it. – because we just can’t get enough 😛

The classic Mexican nachos – crispy tortilla chips, topped with meat, cheese, tomatoes, salsa, sour cream, guacamole, and anything else you like! This is literally a party favorite and is disliked by just a few. We have seen so many variations of this delicious snack – the American BBQ nachos (shredded ribs and bbq sauce), the Canadian poutine nachos (with cheese curds and gravy), veggie nachos (extra cheesy with veggie chili and peppers) and the list goes on and on…so we just had to see how we could locales this dish for the Middle East…

For this episode, Athina gets wild with her localized take on shawarma nachos. Of course, she absolutely loved this challenge. And what did she come up with? The shawarma and Chips Oman nachos. Think – chips Oman, covered in shawarma meat (chicken or beef could work with this recipe), chopped up pickles and of course topped with some pull worthy mozzarella. YUM. Check out these super simple steps to make your very own Chips Oman Shawarma Nachos.

Chips Oman Shawarma Nachos
