Droollin’ Over This Tiramisu

Ok, if you guys are anything like me – then you most probably have the biggest sweet tooth ever. There is nothing I love more than a good dessert! My worst nightmare? Being too full after a gorgeous meal to have my dessert! An all time classic, that also happens to be one of my personal faves is a good old tiramisu. Spongy creamy layers of coffee goodness – what’s there not to love!

I recently challenged myself to make a good tiramisu from scratch to share with friends when they were set to come over for dinner. After scouting the net, and trying out a couple of different recipes, I finally found the perfect combo. Check out this delicious Tiramisu recipe that I used when my friends came over, it was super easy and EXTREMELY DELICIOUS – WINNINGGGGGG.

You will need:

36 LADY FINGERS

150 G SUGAR

500 G MASCARPONE CHEESE

6 EGGS

25 CL STRONG BLACK COFFEE

COCOA POWDER

Whip it up:

1. Break eggs and separate whites from the yolks.

2. Add the sugar and mascarpone cheese to the egg yolks and whisk until well combined.

3. Beat your egg whites until it forms stiff peaks, and gently combine with to the mascarpone mixture.

4. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.

5. Quickly dip half of the lady fingers into the coffee for only a few seconds, you don’t want them to be too soggy!

6. Place them on the bottom of 6 large glasses.

7. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the lady fingers. Arrange another layer of soaked biscuits, and top with remaining mascarpone mixture.

8. Store in the fridge for at least an hour. Dust with cocoa powder when serving, et voila!
