There’s no escaping the standard hotel booking or car rental apps, but when you’re in a new and strange country you might want to take extra precautions. Get your hands on these next apps for when you travel.

It has the possibility to create folders specifically for travel using preexisting templates, and give you the possibility to check out other people’s posts for the destination you’re visiting, and create your very own travel diary.

Google Keep also provides much of the same features as Evernote, except you can even set reminders for what to pack, create a packing sit or even comment on other people travel diaries!
Free WiFi calls from public spaces like airports and cafes aren’t considered exactly safe in terms of protecting your personal details. Anyone can get their hands on information you really don’t want them to have. To prevent this, download an app that hides your browsing activity as well as other sensitive information like passwords when you travel. A VPN will usually do the trick.

For the Android users out there, Google Drive is your friend. You get to store an unlimited amount of pictures and videos as long as you give google permission to compress any files over 16 MegaPixels.
Another option you have is Amazon drive, Prime members get unlimited storage for images as well as 5GB for videos with extra possibilities being available for a fee of course.
