If you’ve been watching any beauty vloggers over the past few years, then you’ve definitely heard of IT Cosmetics. If you’re like me, then you’ve probably been dying to try out some of the IT Cosmetic lines for aggresses but it’s been tricky to get your hand on in Dubai. Luckily for us, Sephora has recently started selling their products here so we can finally see what all the hype is about.

Who are IT Cosmetics?

Founded by Jamie Kern Lima, who suffers from rosacea (a skin condition that can cause extreme redness, swelling, and pimples on the face), IT Cosmetics have developed a line of products alongside plastic surgeons and expert dermatologists. These have been formulated and designed specifically to help cover and correct different skin issues that you might experience, such as blemishes, redness, hyperpigmentation, discoloration, and signs of aging.

What to buy?

I am surprised to be able to say but, being completely honest, I would recommend everything from this brand which I’ve tried. The obvious starting point is to try one of the CC+ Creams, which can be used as a full-coverage color-correcting foundation, as a hydrating anti-aging serum, and as a sunscreen (SPF 50+) and come in three formulas; the original, the matte, and the illumination. While IT’s CC creams are a little bit more expensive than the equivalents from other brands, they are definitely worth it. Applying a small amount provides more than enough coverage to cover your whole face, taking any redness and blemishes with it. If I have any complaint with this range, it’s that they could be offering more colors in order to cater better for darker skin tones. However, they continue to expand their range and hopefully, this will be rectified soon!

The other must buy the product from the IT lineup is their Primer+ Oil-Free.  As well as acting as a super hydrating primer (although maybe too hydrating for those who have particularly oily skin) and even working well on its own to give you a dull-fighting bright complexion, used over the long term this primer will completely refine your pores! Another 10/10 from me and a must-buy!
