#Recipe: Karak Spiced Fudge

I’m not much of a tea drinker, but let’s face it, Karak chai doesn’t live in the realm of ordinary tea. Its warm mix of spices and layers of flavor satisfy us every time. Now add that to desserts and we have a winner! 

The wonderful world of fudge! Salted caramel, chocolate, pistachio, vanilla – the list goes on and on with so many varieties and textures of fudge that you can find out there in the world. In this episode, Athina creates her very own fudge using her fave ingredient of the moment: Karak. This karak spiced fudge is the perfect combo of chewy, melt-in-your-mouth sweetness level. Perfect to take over to a friend’s when invited for dinner to wow them with this unique dessert. Check out this recipe for Karak spiced fudge:


395 ml Sweetened Condensed Milk

1 tsp Ground Cardamom

1 tsp Ground Cinnamon

¼ tsp Ground Cloves

½ tsp Ground Ginger

500 g White Chocolate


  • First, grease and line a rectangular baking tin (about 7” x 10”).
  • Gently heat the condensed milk and spices in a saucepan over medium heat until hot (do not boil). Add the white chocolate and mix until fully melted and smooth. 
  • Pour mixture into prepped baking tin and spread evenly. Cool completely. This will take a while, so you can pop it into the fridge if you’re in a hurry.
  • Slice into squares and dust with spices.
  • Share selectively 😉
