We love some baked goods. This Japanese bakery is incredible. Not only is there a nice variety of offerings, but Yamanote strives for perfection and it shows. This bakery provides traditional tastes of European bakery items but also blends in some Japanese style baked goods, as well as some local flavors. If you have ever wanted to make a single trip to get a cheese croissant, a vegetable pizza, and a sweet Nutella filled pastry that is in the shape of a Hello Kitty face, this is your place. Oh, and if you’ve never tried a traditional Japanese cheesecake, you need to fix that.

This lux French-style bakery and confection maker has been an institution since 1862. Today, you can find locations all over the world. While you can certainly stop in and have a proper brunch and a great cup of coffee here, it’s the baked goods where they truly excel. The main draw is, of course, their delectable macarons, which are always baked to perfection. The sheer number of flavors is going to leave you with no other choice but to make several visits to eventually try them all.

Every day, the team at Hummingbird Bakery is waking up and baking scrumptious cakes and cupcakes for you. Are you really just going to stay at home and let all that hard, tasty work go to waste? This American style bakery sticks to a relatively modest amount of items. But, what it does, it does exceedingly well. The cakes here are moist, flavorful, and simply decorated. With cakes like Red Velvet, an M&M filled rainbow cake, and a mile high variety, this place is just begging for a visit.

If you are looking for some of the most delicious, freshly baked bread you’ve ever eaten, this is where it is. Full stop. This is your baked bread haven. Want another reason you should know about this place? They deliver. These guys really know about their buns and loaves. There’s the bacon baguette, traditional Heide bread, several flavors of croissants and pretzel bread, rye, oat, and more. The bread here is also beautiful and consistently delicious. Brb, time to carb load.
