Feng Shui and Plants

When one thinks about Feng Shui, we tend to envision spaces and balance. The Yin and the Yang symbol, but not really plants. However, plants are indeed an element that not only is very Feng Shui but that can bring actual good luck. The reason for this? Because plants are living elements that bring energy to a house. The fact that they evolve and constantly grow can be a source of inspiration for us to initiate change in our lives. Adding to this, that they literally purify the air, what’s not to like?

In order to respect the Feng Shui principles, note that you should add the plants in pairs to respect the balance of the Yin and Yang and should focus on certain plants. Avoid spiky plants, do not leave dead plants or go for dried flowers. On the contrary, you focus on plants with an abundance of leaves and flowers. For a more detailed list please read on.

Money tree

First of all, the money tree. To optimize the power of the money tree, remember to place it in an area of your home related to money, health or fame. Not in an area linked to marriage or spirituality.

Lucky bamboo

There is a reason it’s called “lucky” bamboo. The best place for it would be your living room.

Peace Lily

The absolute number one plant for air purifying. Feng Shui recommendations would be to place it in an office space.

Snake Plant

The Snake plant is said to eliminate negative energy that comes from electronics.

Spider Plant

An excellent stress-reducing plant.

Orchids

Honestly, do we even need extra reasons to love orchids?

Citrus trees

Citrus trees are said to bring abundance to your home because of their beautiful and round-shaped fruit.
