The World-famous attraction Madame Tussauds Dubai officially opened last month, and visitors are flowing in left and right! Marking the 25th version of Madame Tussauds, the Dubai edition of the celebrated wax figure attraction is the first of its kind in the GCC. With seven rooms in total, including the leaders & royals’ room, fashion zone – with a catwalk might we add – film area, media zone, Bollywood, sports room, and the A-list party zone, the attraction brings something new to the UAE that friends and family alike can all enjoy. Pose for a picture next to your favorite celeb for the ‘gram and grab something to eat afterward at Bluewaters – where the museum itself is located! Who is Madame Tussaud?

Marie Grosholtz, born in 1761, better known as Madame Tussaud, was born into a French family of public executioners. Her mother, who was a widow, was the housekeeper of famous anatomist and wax maker, Philippe Curtius, who taught Marie all there was to know about the art of wax sculpture. Throughout her life, the sculpture devoted her skills to the art of wax-figure making and is now known as one of – if not – the most renowned wax sculpture of all time.

With the main museum in London and many smaller ones in other major cities in the world – like, Dubai now – The attraction is one of the most recognized museums worldwide.

So, how do I get tickets!?

You can get your hands on tickets from the Madame Tussauds Dubai website. Prices start at Dhs135 for adults, Dhs110 for children 3 to 11, while under 3s are free. The attraction is open from 12pm to 8pm (last entry 7.45pm) from Sunday to Thursday, and 10am-8pm (last entry 7.45pm) on Friday, Saturday & Public Holidays

The attraction can be found at Bluewaters, close to the newest attraction located in the area – Ain Dubai. Tourists and residents of all ages are bound to love exploring the new attraction, which promises glamour, sport, music, entertainment all under one roof.
