Massaman Curry – Thailand

This authentic Asian dish comes to you from lovely Thailand. It’s a rich and scrumptious curry that dates back to around the 17th century. As the word “Massaman” is not native to the Thai language, there are a couple of theories of how this dish came to be. Some say that it originated in central Thailand, and was introduced by a Persian merchant. Other theories suggest that the recipe came from the southern part of the country, and was the result of Indian and Malay influences.
