4 Fun Workouts in Dubai

1. Bounce Fit

“A workout that’s actually fun” – is the opening line of the Bounce Fit website, I guess it says it all! I mean who wouldn’t want to relive their youth by bouncing around on trampolines and burning calories at the same time. COUNT ME IN. According Bounce Fit, NASA describes this type of workout as “the most effective form of exercise yet devised by man.” The workouts involve high-intensity, low impact cardio that will get those heart rates up and runnin. We suggest to go with a group of friends for a good laugh and some healthy exercise.

2. Suspension Yoga

This literally turns your yoga world upside down! Suspension Yoga is an intense core workout but so much fun at the same time. Imagine being suspended in the air with a huge giant fabric swing, that allows you to move freely and get an amazing stretch on those muscles. Although it looks like a blast – I must warn you that it looks a lot easier than it actually is. After this workout it’s safe to say that I was unable to move my arms for about 3 days – but boy did I laugh during the 1 hour class. Head over to Inspire Yoga to give this class a try, and let us know what you think!

3. Barrys Bootcamp

Now many would argue if this is actually fun – but trust me when I say it’s defs the most fun you can have while working your butt off. There are moments during this workout, that for most first timers, you may think you might die – but you are in safe hands. This high intensity workout can burn up to 1,000 calories in just 1 class, with half of the class on treadmills and the other half on the floor with weights. You might be wondering where the fun is at? Well, for starters this class is literally like being in a club. With a dark room, lit with red lights and music on max volume playing killer playlists – Barrys creates an ambience that keeps you pumped up for the entirety of the class.

4. Cycle That Buff Off

Looking for something to do on the weekend? Why not head over to Al Qudra cycle track and go for a bike ride with friends. The view of the desert is jaw dropping, and it being January the weather is perfect for a day outdoors. Cycling this track is a super fun activity to with friends but trust me when I say it’s a proper workout to. Spending 2 hours on the bike will give you a great dose of cardio and will also help in getting those buns of steel that we are all after. Oh, and if you don’t own a bike – not to worry. There is a bike rental shop called Trek Bicycle Store and the start of the track where you can rent all the gear needed, as well as a grocery shop – don’t forget to stock up on water, you will be needing it!
