Top 5 Beaches In The UAE For Collecting Seashells

Searching for seashells can add an extra bit of fun to any already amazing day at the beach. Shelling is usually best in the early morning hours as a general rule. There’s no better way to start your day than watching the sun rise over the water as you comb the sand for shells!

While there are plenty of water sports and nearby restaurants to enjoy at this beach, it is also a shell hunter’s paradise! Just after the tides change is a good time to walk the shoreline looking for shells. This beach is popular, so the earlier you can arrive the better to give you the best chance at finding top-notch sea-shells!

2. Kite Beach

Spend a morning or afternoon sitting at the shoreline with the water lapping at your  toes as you sift through the powdery sand for seashells.

4. Umm Al Qwain Beach

This relatively quiet beach located about an hour from Dubai is visited primarily for camping overnight! Many visitors can’t help but mention the beauty of the sunsets from this beach.  There is also a decent amount of shelling to be found in the early morning hours and you might just see crabs scuttling about the beach or lounging in the shallow waters.
