You cannot leave Salalah without having a coconut drink. You will find a lot of fruit huts on the side of the road or even on the beach. They serve fresh juices but are most famous for their coconut water, a must-try!
Set outdoor overlooking the Indian Ocean, the Dolphin Beach Restaurant is located in Crowne Plaza Salalah. It is the perfect choice if you want a variety of cuisine: Omani, Lebanese, salads, burgers, or a casual buffet.
Salalah is full of natural wonders to visit, from waterfalls, archaeological sites to castles and gorgeous white sand beaches. Here are the top spots:

Waterfalls! Salalah offers many fantastic waterfalls and here are the top ones: Ayn Khor, Ayn Athum, Raythut waterfalls and Wadi Darbat. To continue your tour, don’t forget to climb down to Tawi Ateer sinkhole to witness one of the largest sinkholes in the world. If the idea of staring at a sinkhole doesn’t sound that fun to you, know that it is also a bird sanctuary and the sound of birds there is out of this world.
Sultan Qaboos mosque, Al Baleed archeological site, Taqah Castle and Haffa souk need to be on your list.
There are several beaches to choose from but the most popular ones are Fazayah beach and Mirbat beach. Boat rides and water sport activities are also available and totally worth it!
Now that you are super excited to go, it is maybe time to talk logistics…To get there, know that it will take you about 9 hours to drive from Dubai or hop on a plane and you will be looking at a 2-hour direct flight trip with either Emirates or FlyDubai.
