Oh, what a year it’s been for beauty in 2018. More than ever before we saw a meteoric rise in the number of indie brands, and saw tons of daring beauty trends take hold and become staples in our beauty routines. The blinding highlighters, full coverage everything, extreme matte foundations, the strobing technique, faux freckles, and so much more – 2018 was truly the year for makeup buffs.
When I look back at the year and assess what my all-time favorite beauty trend was, I must admit it has to be: the cranberry & red eyeshadow look. This look took our insta feeds by storm late 2017 and was since seen all over for 2018. There was no beauty brand out there that did not launch an eyeshadow palette that didn’t house this pinkish red shade. So, I went out on a hunt and dug out 10 of my favorite beauty bloggers who have sported this look throughout the year. From local beauty chicks to global makeup instagrammers, check out 10 times the cranberry red eyeshadow look totally rocked my feed.
Known as one of her signature looks of the year, here El Jammi is sporting a simple, and totally matte, red eye – and we are obsessed.
Another matte look, with a hint of sparkle on the inner corner of the eye – beauty guru Hindash goes for this cranberry cooler look using the Huda Beauty Rose Gold Remastered Palette.

Umm YAS Queen Kylie! This look is defintely one that we are obsessed with. Going heavy with the cranberry shade on the eyelid, winging it out into a pulled out cat eye – and then lined with some orange on the inner corner. Wow.
Beauty Guru Dina Al Sharif sports a soft cranberry eye accompanied by a great winged liner and some serious lashes. Soft, pretty and totally captivating – a true beauty!

Norwegian bombshell and beauty babe Karina G, pulls off this gorgeous cranberry sultry look. Going heavy on the lower lash line with the red shadow, and a dash of highlight in the inner corner of her eye – this look makes our list as one to recreate ASAP (oh and did I mention those lashes? All I can say is: dayummm).
