The weekends are a time for heading out to the beach, going to visit friends, watching a movie – but more importantly than anything, it’s time for the weekly catch-up breakfast with the girls. Most every weekend my girlfriends and I make it a point to head out for a girly catch-up over a delicious breakfast. Eggs, coffee and some juicy gossip is all we need to have a fab morning.
Luckily here in Dubai we are totally spoiled for choice when it comes to dining out, so we never run out of options. That being said we are notorious for always picking out the same handful of restaurants that we love for a good brekkie. So, I have rounded up 5 of our all-time favorite breakfast spots to hang out in over the weekend. Check it out 🙂
Y U M. This has made it to number one on the list because it is literally my all-time favorite breakfast spot. When the weather is nice, it’s lovely to sit outside on the Boulevard with the girls. Coffee is amazing, and the Boulengerie is just divine. My usual order? Bread basket to share (with their delicious fresh jam), the best Eggs Benedict in town, an espresso and of course we cannot leave without sharing the Pain Perdu – just one bite and you are in heaven.

This is actually my BFFs all-time favorite spot! It is an absolutely gorgeous restaurant concept that comes from South Africa. Almost every single time we go over the weekend it is packed with people because the food, vibe and service are just amazing. My BFF almost always goes for the Mexican style omelet while I opt for the Billionaire Eggs – scrambled eggs, truffle, and Parmesan cheese. Something we always get to share? The polenta fries! They are legit delicious!
This is another place we love heading out to on the weekends. I must admit I especially love it since its located in Jumeirah close by to where I grew up – so being in this area fills me with pure nostalgia. There are so many things right about this place – the décor, the vibe, the food, the light, I mean its honestly a must see for everyone. The menu is also delicious! Some of my faves? The Eggs with Truffle and Béchamel, the Khachapuri bread filled with cheese and an egg or you could go classic with the full Society Breakfast: think eggs, sausage, bacon, mushrooms and the full works. It is DELICIOUS!

Looking for a new spot? Head out to Dubai Design District with the girls for your weekend breakfast. A place we love to go to is Lighthouse located in Building 6 of D3. This concept restaurant not only has some great food, but also sells some cool and quirky books and other home accessories to browse through after your breakfast. What do we love to order? Probably the funkiest place on the list – Vibe is a super cool spot to head out to for breakfast. All I have to say is make sure your phone is fully charged because this spot is super instagrammable and you won’t want to stop clicking away. Not only does the space look amazing, but the food is also delish. For breakfast you can check out their interesting menu filled with breakfast faves with a twist. What do we love to order? The Eggs Issa-Florentine, the Shakshuka, and the Blueberry Pancakes with coconut cream.
