4 Date Night Makeup Looks

Sometimes you just want to amp things up in the makeup department. Maybe you have a special event, going to a fancy place, or you simply want to get dressed up and feel yourself. Well, the right makeup can go a long way in helping you conquer the night. Check out these 4 date night makeup looks that are sure to be the cherry on top of your cake.

Smoke Signals

Your daily look won’t cut the biscuit for your special night out, instead, send out some smoke signals with a beautiful take on the smoky eye! Sure, you can go with your regular brown or charcoal smoky makeup looks but why not have some fun and introduce a pop of colour? Pick something that will make sure they don’t take their eyes off of you. At the moment I’m loving maroons, deep forest greens and sapphire blue for a subtle, yet intentional play on a classic.

So Fresh and Clean

Not feeling the colourful makeup looks this season and more into the neutral monochromatic vibes? I hear ya. Make your skin the heroine of this story. This look is all about the prep. Make sure you use a good moisturiser, primer packed with radiance and a foundation that makes you look like you’re glowing. Leave the powders at home ladies. Finish off with a lip tint and a few lashings of mascara for the ultimate I woke up like this polished look.

Give them Some Lip

Take aim and fire with this look by making your lines so sharp you could cut somebody. You can go for an exaggerated cat eyeliner look or even something a little more natural, whatever you fancy! Just remember it needs to be crisp. Finish off with a bold lip with a colour of your choice. We recommend something that compliments your outfit. I love a true red lip but why not mix it up with a berry-inspired tone or even a fun playful unusual colour like orange or purple? It’s your night, do what you want!

Litty Committee

Basque in your own glory with this look. Use some custom highlight drops and mix it into your foundation, you will look like you’re lit from the inside out. Once you’ve finished whatever makeup look you were going for, take a fan brush and wash some powder highlighter over all the areas the sun would normally catch. Think t-zone, cheekbones and temples, a little on the chin and cupid’s bow. You glow girl.
